An Udaipur-based girl will be joining a subsidiary company of social media giant Facebook. Shaheen a postgraduate student of IIT and the Harvard Business School, has been appointed to the position of product manager in the Facebook Inc. with its headquarters in San Francisco.

 

Born and brought up in Udaipur, Shaheen's schooling took place in Udaipur and Kota. Then, she got selected in IIT-Kanpur from where she completed her B.Tech and M.Tech degree.

 

After graduating, she got married to Hatim Ali, a graduate of IIT-BHU, but she continued preparations for entrance into the Harvard Business School, where she got selected in 2013 and completed her graduation from the University this year only.

 

Shaheen credits her success to her parents and the support of her in-laws, who encouraged her to transform her dreams into reality.
