AMENA ThumpnailAmena works with Agility as Special Projects Manager in the chairman’s department which allows her -- among other things -- to fulfill her passion for enhancing education in remote parts of India, her home country. To help raise awareness about the aquatic life in the Arabian Gulf waters to promote a cleaner and safer environment for all generations to come, and many other such projects.

GovindaA dynamic multilingual anchor since 2016, she hosts a program ‘Second Home’ for Kuwait TV 2 which airs twice a week. It showcases events and cultural activities that expatriates such as dignitaries, diplomats and business owners are engaged in. She also interviews celebrities and brand ambassadors visiting Kuwait for launches and shows. Zealous about meeting people from different walks of life, Amena believes this is a rewarding experience in itself.

husain's house, KuwaitShe is also an integral part of Fankaar Arts a theatrical group based out of Kuwait which has been performing plays for over 3 decades. She has been appreciated as an actress of note, captivating audiences with her vibrant performances in lead roles in plays staged in the Middle East and India.

indian ambassadorShe recently performed in a comedy play “Hai Re Meri Biwi” in BhartiyaVidhaBhavan, Mumbai, commemorating the National Day of Kuwait in India with the comedian king of Bollywood, Johnny Lever, being the honorable chief guest.

For Tollywood viewers, she is remembered for embracing the lead character in the first Telegu film produced and directed in Kuwait: “Pelli Katha Chitram”.

K2OShe has also acted in an Urdu comedy serial: “Sab Chalta Hai” with production house AAM pictures. Owing to the love of her language, Urdu, she graciously accepted the role of the public relations officer of the Gulf Urdu Council and has hosted regional Mushairas in Urdu poetry, including one with the legendary painter and poet, MF Hussain.

Naseeruddin and RatnaHer proficiency in various languages and her stage presence, has led her to win the Toastmasters district level competition in two categories: The Inspiration Speech contest and The Humorous Speech contest.

She has enjoyed modelling for the well-known Kuwait based photography company, Apache Photography, for a Raza Muradbridal shoot. She also worked in an ad film made for the ministry of interiors for national television where she represented the face of the south Asian Expat community of Kuwait.

Shatru and SaquibAmena, whose fascination and curiosity for subatomic particles led her to earn a Masters Degree in Physics, continues to learn more about different forms of energy such as Bio energy, Pranic healing, Energy medicine, Meditation into past lives and Feng Shui. Whenever she finds time she does Feng Shui consultancy to promote harmonious energy in homes and office spaces.

She loves to share the knowledge through various seminars that she conducts in India for srilankan dance troopholistic living. She strongly believes everyone is connected through energy and her goal in life is to grow spiritually.

When asked “what do you want to be?” She says: I want to be like water. I want to slip through fingers, but hold up a ship!
