AIIMS Online Kalolsavam Triumphs the World Record

AIIMS BEC Online Kalolsavam conducted by AIIMS Kuwait, seizes its place in the America Book of Records for conducting the World’s Largest Online Youth Festival for expatriates in a completely virtual platform.

        The event was conducted during the lockdown of COVID-19 Pandemic in two phases from June 1 to August 15, 2020 with 650 participants competing from 6 Kuwait Governorate in 9 events under 6 categories. The phase 2 competition was conducted with 210 finale participants from which the final winners were selected, making it the World’s largest Online Youth Festival for Expatriates.

         When the world was quivering with the black thunders of covid pandemic,in addition to several charity works, Kuwait Indian expatriate community AIIMS(Alternative Integral Initiative for Mutual Support) with an array of like minded people ventured forth with their online cultural potpourri set in a perfectly virtual platform with the perception of providing an opportunity to nurture the hidden talents of children who were confined to the four walls of their houses due to the covid fear that is escalating.    

         AIIMS chairman Babuji Bathery,Habeebulla Muttichoor,Sam Nanthiyattu ,N S Jayan ,Manikuttan Edukkatte,DK Dileep,Shaji Nagaroor,Mahesh Iyer,Joby Kaleekal, Ivy Alex,Sindhu Madhuraj,Sindhu Ramesh,T R Rajesh,ShaijuVargheese,Jesny  Shameer,Anoop Andrews,Ashraf Choorattu,Sumesh Sudhakaran,Basheer Koyilandi, were the volunteers who steered different committees.
