Govt of India PSU Heads pay rich tributes to Late Emir 


As a mark of respect on the passing away of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, Government of India had declared a one day state mourning on Sunday October 4th throughout India.

The Indian embassy in Kuwait had also urged all Indians to observe two minutes silence at 11 and join the 1.3 billion of their brothers and sisters in India to pay homage to the departed leader. Along with all officials of the Embassy Officials and Indian diaspora, the Heads of Indian Public Sector Undertakings in Kuwait also paid rich tributes to the departed leader.


In exclusive condolence meetings organized at their respective offices Heads of Govt of India PSU gave a brief description of the great leadership qualities and contributions of the Humanitarian Leader and his outstanding contributions to the Middle-East Region and other countries which needed humanitarian help and support. Two minutes silence was observed along with all their staff members as mark of respect to the departed soul.


Six Govt of India PSUs, Air India, LIC of India, New India Assurance, TCIL, Oriental Insurance and LICHFL, are functioning in Kuwait doing a yeomen’s service to the residents of Kuwait since many decades.

Heads of PSUs, Anil Parashar, Anish Agarwal, Ram Mohan Reddy, Devesh Kumar and Neeraj Bhargav presided over the meetings and offered their condolences and respects.
