Last year, this movie was selected under directors cut jury award” in the Pune film festival by NFDC (National film Development Corporation)
Due to pandemic situation of Corona, the team couldn’t take up the movie to the next level. So they decided to sell it to a big production banner for distribution to get more reach. Movie was sold to Vignesh Sivan and Nayanthara’s production company - Rowdy pictures Pvt .
Out of 2000 films submitted all over the world. 20 films were selected around the world out of which Koozangal is selected in affc, Rotterdam as the only Asian film for the year 2021. We congratulate the team for the efforts to direct and produce such wonderful film which brings name to our country and film fernity. We on behalf of Kuwait friends, congratulate the whole team and many more laurels in the future.
“Koozhangal” movie has now been sent to other international film festival 2021. No doubt the film will surely bring more awards and laurels. Wishing Mr. Saidevanand to direct and produce Successful films like this in the future.
