YMCA Kuwait in association with Indian Dentist’ Alliance Kuwait (IDAK) conducted a Dental Camp at United Indian School, Kuwait from 8 am till 1 pm. The event was managed by Dr. John Thomas (Convener). Six efficient doctors who are members of IDAK had examined the patients of which there were about 100, mostly from various camps in Kuwait. The consultation was purely free and valuable suggestions were provided to the attended patients. Mr. Mathews Mammen, Vice-President, managed the registration process and the patient queue system.

A talk was also arranged along with a presentation, whereby Dr. Smida explained about the precautions and remedies that everybody should consider regarding their dental health.

A general meeting was also arranged. The meeting was chaired by YMCA Kuwait president, CA. Mathew Varkey. General Secretary, Mr. Manoj Parimanam, welcomed the gathering. Chief Guest of the program was Rev. A.T. Zachariah, Vicar of Kuwait City Mar Thoma Parish. Adv. John Thomas, Administrator of UIS, gave a felicitation speech. Dr. Thomas Thomas, President of IDAK and Dr. Subin Thomas, Chairman Community Welfare Committee, thanked YMCA for conducting the event in such a professional manner with the assistance of IDAK. Dr. John Thomas proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Sunu Eapen, YMCA Board member, compered the event. A.I. Kurien (Patron), Mathew Koshy (Treasurer), Ajith Kannanpara (Jt. Secretary), Agesh Thomas (Jt. Treasurer), Mr. Prashobh, a well-wisher of YMCA, supported the convener in matters of various arrangements. All the participants were provided with breakfast and lunch.
