MBYA-BDK Blood donation Drive
Mar Baselios Youth Association; the youth wing of St. George Universal Syrian Orthodox Reesh Church, and BDK Kuwait Chapter jointly organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with the Central Blood Bank, Kuwait. In the camp organized at Adan co-operative blood transfusion center on Friday, March 10 from 9 am to 1 pm; more than 40 people donated blood. MBYA conducted the blood donation camp to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the church. The official opening ceremony of the camp was performed by the Church Vicar Rev. Father Jibu Cherian. He appreciated the social and philanthropic activities being carried out by the youth wing of the church. MBYA Secretary Emil Mathew welcomed the gathering , while the church secretary Abraham Mathan, MBYA Trustee Liju Kuriakos, BDK activists Nalinakshan Olavara and Rajan Thotathil felicitated the blood donors. Thomas Adoor BDK handed over a plaque of appreciation to Mar Baselios Youth Association for successfully organizing the camp. BDK Coordinators Bina, Jolly, Nias, Noble, Jijo, Jayesh, Jayan, Biji Murali and MBYA coordinators volunteered for the successful conduct of the camp. Prizes and certificates were distributed to all the participants of the camp.
