Institute of Management Accountants ( IMA)Kuwait Chapter hosted Iftar Event on 04.04.2023 (Tuesday) at Symphony Style Hotel ( Roof Top Meeting Hall) - 5 PM to 9:30 PM
International Dawah Trainer and Islamic Scholar Mr. Mohammad AlNaqwi was the Chief Guest on that occasion.
Iftar program was started with recitation Quran from Surah Al Baqarah, verses 183 to 185
by Adel Abboud, Vice President - Events, Dr. Babu I. Razack, Secretary of the IMA Kuwait
Chapter, translated in English the Quran verses and highlighted on the importance of the month of fasting to glorify Allah and to become self-restraint. Allah gives lenience on those are sick and tin ravel . They can make up their fasting later. Those who cannot perform fasting due to valid reasons, should feed the poor.
Mr. Ganesh Mani , President , IMA Kuwait Chapter welcomed the audience and the guests. He briefed the profile of Mr. Mohammad AlNaqwi, mentioning that Islamic Scholar AlNaqwi having hybrid talents with many degrees to his credit.
Mr. Mohammad AlNaqwi’s speech was very remarkable. He was telling with the incident when Prophet Mohammed PBUH said ‘Ameen’ when the Gabriel, the angel told about the main losers in each time. A person not caring their aged parents in the time of their needs but concerned more on him, his wife and children only. A person not giving reply to tell to greet the prophet with PBUH when he is talked about. A person who is ignoring the month of Ramadan and not fasting and other rituals in this month.
He was telling another incident happened during the period of Prophet Mohammed PBUH
about his companions . Two of them reverted to Islam from Jewish faith. One was after a while killed in the battlefield and the other one died after a year or sometime in his bed. The third companion had a dream in his bed as they were approaching the heaven but the angel took first of the second one to proceed for heaven first and later on the second one was picked up for the heaven. The one who was dreaming was stopped to enter the heaven as his turn not came. Then he woke up and wondered how the person died of battlefield who is Shaheed (martyr) not called first but the other one with normal life went first. He asked the Prophet Mohammed PBUH for the explanation. Prophet mentioned that he was doing regular prayers and all requirements on the holy month of Ramadan. That is what he was given first priority so one should not miss to harvest the benefits of this blessed month.

There was good networking and pictures with members in the meeting . Dinner was arranged for the members and guests on that day. It was a great evening to everyone.
