UPNRI Forum Kuwait Hosts Condolence Meeting to Commemorate the Legacy of Dr. Mirza Umair Beg

The members of UP NRI Forum-Kuwait, gathered in solemn remembrance to honour the life and contributions of the esteemed Scientist and distinguished Urdu literature writer, Dr. Mirza Umair Beg whose sudden demise on April 15th 2024 at his hometown Lucknow (India), left the whole Indian community in shock and despair.

The condolence meeting, held on April 26th-2024 afternoon at Sahara Auditorium, Ahmadi, Kuwait, commenced with Quranic verses recitation.

The meeting was attended in large nos by UPNRI Forum members , well-wishers, admirers, friends and relatives of Dr. Beg, including his  Son Mr. Mansoor Beg, Daughters Mrs. Uzma and Mrs. Hina, Son in-laws  Mr. Tariq and Mr. Fareed attending online. Reflecting on Dr. Beg's multifaceted brilliance, his remarkable contributions and the profound impact he made on the Forum and the Indian community in Kuwait. Forum's President Dr. Mohan Ram and many prominent dignitaries from the Forum and Indian Community expressed their deep sorrow and shared their cherished memories with Dr Beg and his family.

Dr. Mirza Umair Beg, a luminary in his professional field, was revered not only for being a soft spoken, humble, supportive and a noble gentleman, but also a writer by passion. Dr. Beg was remembered for his multifaceted brilliance, his profound contributions to literature through short stories and poems published in leading Urdu Magazines way back in 70s and 80s.

The condolence meeting provided a platform for friends, colleagues, and admirers of Dr. Beg to come together in solidarity and commemorate his exemplary life. Speakers shared heartfelt anecdotes, cherished memories, and kind feelings for him, underscoring the enduring legacy of Dr. Beg and the profound impact he left on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was remembered for not only a visionary scientist but also a literary giant, an Islamic scholar whose words touched the hearts and minds of countless individuals across faiths. His intellect, compassion, and boundless creativity continue to inspire us all, and his legacy will endure for generations to come." The meeting served as a poignant tribute to Dr. Beg's exceptional achievements and indelible impact on both the scientific and literary realm across the globe.

As the UP NRI Forum members and Indian Community in Kuwait, joins together to honour the memory of Dr. Mirza Umair Beg, his spirit lives on in the hearts and minds of all who were touched by his extraordinary life.

In tribute to his father, Dr. Umair Beg, Mr. Mansoor Beg spoke of his unmatched wisdom, love for knowledge, and commitment to continuous learning. Dr. Beg maintained a harmonious balance between spirituality and worldly pursuits, approached life with a scientific mindset, and emphasized selflessness and generosity. Let's honour his memory by embodying these teachings, seeking knowledge, upholding moral values, and extending a helping hand to others. Mr. Mansoor Beg thanked attendees for commemorating the life of his remarkable father.

The meeting concluded with prayers for Dr. Umair Beg's forgiveness and a place in Jannat Al Firdous and condolences and sympathies for his family members.
