Welcome Eng Senthilkumar to Home land!

*‘The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.’* -- golden words uttered by our Mahatma.
Here is a man who stands as such living example. He can be rightly called as a man of passion, perseverance and prominence for his public service. A man of noble deeds Mr.Senthilkumar Panneer Selvam, retires in his own style.
Being a chemical engineer, he held a highly prestigious position in Equate, one among the top five petrochemical firms in Kuwait.
He has sincerely contributed for the growth of the company for the past 28 years.
Equate is a notable name among the petrochemical industry. Even a miniscule job in such a firm known for its technological excellence and safety standards is an attractive dream for many. It is a general human mentality to be in low spirits after retirement.
We have seen many who desperately try for work extensions and postpone their retirement.
On the contrary, Senthil preferred a voluntary retirement, despite of holding a honourable post in Equate. Instead of being gloomy, he bloomed with enthusiasm and visited his other colleagues and friends during his last month of work.
He shared his memories and experiences, and spread vibes of positivity to everyone he met.
The grand and glorious events that he organised are the highlight of his retirement.
A magnificent lunch feast for the vegetarian lovers in Saravana Bhavan, a sumptuous dinner spread for the non vegetarian foodies in Mughal Mahal and a splendid closing ceremony in the majestic Radisson Blu Al Hashemi.
What a royal way to retire! Totally 500 + people were overwhelmed by his hospitality.
He also donated a huge sum of Rs.10 lakhs from his savings, for the upliftment of the poor and the downtrodden.
He handed over the cheque to Indian Front liners, Kuwait an organisation constantly committed to serve the poor and needy.
This noble act came as a touching surprise for everyone, including the great donors of Kuwait.
Indian Front liners, started by writer Mr. NcMohandoss (Ncm) is an officially registered non-profit organisation. It strives hard with a motto of encouraging and educating the downtrodden.
It is working sincerely for the past 25 years and meets the basic needs of the needy, beyond caste and creed differences.
It has always supported the government and has collected huge relief funds for providing education, healthcare, food, etc.
Its services have come handy during times of pandemics and disasters.
I am proud and pleased to have known Senthil. No words to appreciate his generous and steadfast deeds, especially during the chaotic times of corona.
We can rightly call him the ‘Karnan of kaliyuga.’
"பெருங்கொடையான் பேணான் வெகுளி அவனின் மருங்குடையார் மாநிலத்து இல்" are the precious lines by Valluvar.
Senthil has forged many meaningful friendships with his numerous acts of service and his countenance.
IiAs the Vice President of IFL, he visited the impoverished households in Kuwait and with a team of IFL volunteers , addressed their needs during the Covid – 19 pandemic.
His team helped them physically and financially. He was least bothered about his health and life, and continued to render his support even before the invention and administration of covid vaccines.
His circle of friendship knows no boundaries. Be it the birthdays or wedding anniversaries or retirement celebrations of his kith and kin, his residence is the inescapable location for the party and gala.
He is the king of hospitality and his guests get drenched in his love and affection. His wife, our beloved Mrs.Padma matches him by showing invariable respect and kindness to the guests. Now a meticulous homemaker, Padma madam was once a skilled entrepreneur.
Basically being a software engineer, she ran a private transport corporation and also owned a gas agency. Senthil sir and Padma madam are blessed with a son named Dhwij and a daughter Nikhi.
They are currently pursuing their masters in U.S.A and Canada respectively. Dhwij has won in men’s beauty pageant and Nikhi is well versed in various dance forms including Bharathanatyam. Both children are equally loveable.
Mrs.Padma, Dhwij and Nikhi have obtained Canadian citizenship. Meanwhile, Senthil sir remains a patriotic and sincere Indian. After spending a dedicated 28 years of life in Kuwait, senthilkumar had returned back to his motherland India.
Let us wish him a peaceful retirement and a prosperous life.
We pray the almighty to shower his blessings on Senthil and his family.
