Aspire Indian School Celebrates May Day Honoring School Drivers
Aspire Indian School in Abbasia, Kuwait, celebrated May Day with a heartfelt event dedicated to the hardworking drivers of Al Maha Star Transport Co., who serve the school’s transport needs. The function, held on the school premises at 6 PM, was marked by appreciation, music, and festive spirit.
Gracing the occasion as special guests were Aspire Indian School Principal Ms. Geetika Ahuja, Facility Director Mr. Toby, Transport Coordinator Mr. Anis, and Mr. Mohamed Shibin, Administrator at Indian Learners Own Academy. Dr. Sami P. Venkat, Managing Partner of Maha Star, delivered the welcome address and extended warm greetings to the drivers in honor of May Day.
In her keynote speech, Ms. Geetika Ahuja expressed deep appreciation for the dedication of the drivers, emphasizing their critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning and safety of school transportation. She highlighted the respect and gratitude the school community holds for their consistent efforts.
The evening featured a vibrant cultural segment, with a live performance by the Pillai Nila Orchestra. The ensemble captivated the audience with songs in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Telugu, creating a joyful atmosphere where drivers and guests alike danced and celebrated.
The event was skillfully coordinated by Mr. Purushothaman, with Mr. Sridhar delivering a vote of thanks. The celebration concluded with a sumptuous dinner, bringing a memorable and meaningful evening to a close.
