The Embassy of India in Kuwait, in collaboration with the Forum of Indian Doctors, organized a blood donation camp
The Embassy of India in Kuwait, in collaboration with the Forum of Indian Doctors, organized a blood donation camp at Adan Hospital on 14 June 2025 to commemorate the World Blood Donors Day.
The event was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Abdulwahab Al Awadhi, Minister of Health of the State of Kuwait in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Adarsh Swaika, the Ambassador of India to Kuwait; and senior Kuwaiti officials Dr. Reem al Radwan and Dr. Hanan al Awadhi; along with senior members of the Forum of Indian Doctors.
A large number of Indian community members as well as some from other expatriate communities enthusiastically participated in the blood donation drive, underscoring the tradition of blood donation by Indian expatriates in Kuwait.
The Indian Embassy, and the Indian community at large, have been organizing blood donation camps in Kuwait on a regular basis. In 2024 alone, apart from the blood donation camps organized by Embassy and the Forum
of Indian Doctors, more than 50 blood donation drives were also undertaken independently by various Indian community associations in Kuwait.
Apart from blood donation camps, the Indian Embassy with the support of the large and vibrant Indian community in Kuwait, has been organising various events and camps for environmental protection and sustainability in Kuwait, including tree-plantation, beach cleaning etc.
