TEF-2025 Hosts 6th Technical Seminar and Launches Online Registration portal for Flagship Event - EEA & TICE- scheduled on 9th October 2025

The Tamilnadu Engineers Forum, Kuwait (TEF) continued its legacy of engineering excellence and professional development by hosting its 6th Technical Seminar, held at Hotel Park Inn, Mahboula, alongside the kick-off of registrations for two of its most anticipated annual flagship events – the 9th Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) and the 16th Technological Innovations Conference & Exposition (TICE). Both events are scheduled to take place on October 9th, 2025.

A major highlight of the evening was the official launch of the event flyer for TICE & EEA 2025, hosted by Engr. Gen Prasanna. The unveiling was done by TEF President Engr. Raja, who also formally announced the opening of registrations. In his address, he emphasized the significance of TICE and EEA as hallmark events that celebrate innovation, excellence, and community engagement. He urged all members to attend without fail and contribute to the success of these events.

TS 06 07Further details were shared by General Secretary Engr. Balasubramanian, who revealed exciting insights into the lineup of special guests expected for the flagship events. He encouraged members to actively promote registration within their professional networks to ensure broad participation.

Earlier, the Event, began with a heartfelt invocation of “Tamilthaai Vaazhthu”, paying lyrical tribute to the Motherland. Emphasizing TEF’s unwavering focus on member welfare, Engr. Pandian delivered the Safety Moment, reaffirming the organization's commitment to health and safety standards in all its events.

Continuing the tradition of intellectual enrichment, Engr. Anantha Raj. V shared the Thirukkural of the Day, offering insightful interpretations of this timeless Tamil literary treasure to inspire values of wisdom and leadership among the audience.

TS 06 09The technical segment began with Engr. Satish Kumar introducing the first speaker, Mr. Anshul Tyagi, Regional Sales Manager, HYTROC, UAE. In his session titled “Overcoming Hand Injuries in the Oil & Gas Industry,” Mr. Tyagi highlighted safety innovations that address one of the industry's most pressing occupational hazards.

The second seminar, introduced by Engr. Parthian, featured Mr. Jayaraj Nair, Manager of the Machine Shop at Kuwait Engineering & Metal Machining Company. His presentation on “Metalock Cold Repair – A Unique Solution for Cast Iron Repair: Case Studies & Applications” provided practical case-based insights into non-welded repair solutions, particularly relevant for maintenance in critical industries.

The interactive Q&A session, handled by Engr. Senthilkumar, allowed attendees to engage with the speakers, further enhancing the knowledge-sharing atmosphere.

TS 06 10The cultural essence of the evening was elevated by a special guest lecture introduced by Engr. Raj Narayanan. The distinguished Mr. Avudaiyappan, a renowned journalist and public speaker from Tamil Nadu, delivered an inspiring talk titled “Pride of Tamil Nadu – Achievements That Inspire the Nation.” His insights drew applause and admiration, shining light on the accomplishments of Tamil Nadu in various spheres.

As a token of gratitude, the TEF team felicitated all guest speakers with ponnadai, galrand, and a memento, honoring their expertise and contributions.

The event was sponsored by M/s. HYTROC and Kuwait Engineering & Metal Machining Company, with anchoring duties gracefully handled by Engr. Subbu and Engr. Reckston.

The evening concluded with a gracious vote of thanks by Engr. Maniyarasu, who acknowledged the contributions of sponsors, speakers, organizers, and attendees for making the event a grand success.

The event came to a delightful close with a delicious dinner, offering members and guests an opportunity to network, connect, and celebrate the spirit of community and collaboration.
