THANIMA Kuwait Unveils Onathanima ’25 Poster, 19th National Tug of War Championship Announced

Kuwait’s leading Indian socio-cultural organization THANIMA Kuwait announced the commencement of the much-awaited Onathanima ’25 celebrations, to be held at Integrated School, Abbasiya on 28 Nov 2025, unveiling the official event poster at a ceremony held at the Nice Hall. Program Convenor Binil Skariah handed over the poster to Shafas Ahmed  who officially released it.

The 19th National Tug of War Championship, the prestigious “Pearl of the School” Awards, and a colorful traditional procession reminiscent of the festive spirit of Kerala are among the key attractions planned for this year’s celebration, Binil Skariah stated. In his address, Shafas Ahmed expressed pride and happiness in partnering with THANIMA and assured continued support for its vibrant socio-cultural initiatives in Kuwait.

Sports Convener Jins Mathew announced that registrations for the 19th National Tug of War Championship have officially begun. The meeting was presided over by THANIMA Convener Jojimon Thomas. Office Secretary Jinu K. Abraham delivered the welcome speech, while senior hardcore members, Babuji Bathery, Jacob Varghese, Dileep D.K., Usha Dileep and Mubarak Kambrath, Kumar Thrithala, Rani Varghese  offered felicitations. Joint Convener Vijeesh Velayudhan delivered the vote of thanks.
