ICSK Khaitan Regally Unveils Salam Kuwait Namaste India - Season 6
Salam Kuwait Namaste India - Season 6, a vibrant celebration of cultural harmony between India and Kuwait, unfolded in all its splendour at The Indian Community School Kuwait, Khaitan, on Friday, 19th December 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The grand event brought together students, educators, parents, and members of the Indian expatriate community to celebrate unity, tradition and shared values.
The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr. Baija Nath Prasad, Second Secretary (Education, Culture & Library) at the Embassy of India in Kuwait. Mr. Dhanpal Ganesh Panchal, Founder President of Rajasthan Darpan and COO of Steel Design Ironwork Centre Kuwait, attended as the Guest of Honour who emphasised the significance of cultural platforms in strengthening international bonds. The event was further dignified by the presence of the Honorary Board of Trustees of ICSK - Honorary Chairman Mr. Shaik Abdul Rahiman, Honorary Vice Chairman Mr. Vinu Kumar Nair, Honorary Secretary Mr. Azharuddin Amer Mohammed, along with Principals, Vice Principals, and Deputy Vice Principals of various ICSK branches, reflecting strong institutional leadership and community support.
A colourful welcome procession set the tone for a day filled with music, dance, and cultural extravaganza. The celebrations commenced on a reverent note with an Islamic Prayer, followed by the National Anthem of Kuwait. A melodious Welcome Song, an energetic Dance Medley, and a warm Welcome Address by the Principal of ICSK Khaitan, Mr. K. Gangadhar Shirsath, ignited the festive spirit.
Adding a soulful touch to the cool winter morning, a beautiful Bengali song captivated the audience, followed by the felicitation of renowned Bengali singer Ms. Sonali Bishwas, whose presence elevated the occasion. The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour were felicitated with great warmth, and the event was formally inaugurated through the planting of a sapling, symbolising growth, sustainability, and new beginnings.
The stage then came alive with a graceful and powerful performance by Vanitha Vedi Kala Kuwait. Mr. Habibulla Muttichoor, a renowned social worker and cultural coordinator, was also felicitated for his contribution to cultural values.
The second half of the programme came alive with a vibrant array of captivating performances and activities. Enthralling dance presentations, a regal Royal Fashion Show, an adorable Baby Show, and high-energy flash mob performances by students kept the audience thoroughly engaged. The excitement continued with a dynamic Bollywood Fusion Dance, an electrifying Buzz Dance, impressive performances by various dance academies, and an interactive magic show by Dr. Gugampoo, which left the audience spellbound.
The major highlights of the carnival included the vibrant Telugu show ‘JATARA’ by “Jabardast” team, the thrilling Voice of Kuwait Finals, and a high-energy music show by Mr. Mubaraq Al Rashed. Another significant moment of the evening was the release of the cover page of the school annual magazine, ARCHIVES, followed by the felicitation of sponsors and the Master of Ceremonies.
ICSK Khaitan expressed heartfelt gratitude to its esteemed sponsors - Canadian College of Kuwait, Al Muzaini Exchange, Metro Medical Care, Unilever, Grand Hyper, Malabar Gold and Diamonds, Go Score, and Al Jazeera Airways for their invaluable support.
The grand celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Ms. Minerva Ramesh, Vice Principal (IGCSE), ICSK Khaitan, marking the successful culmination of Salaam Kuwait Namaste India - Season 6. The event stood as a vibrant celebration of talent, diversity, and community spirit, leaving behind unforgettable memories and a promise of an even more spectacular season ahead.
