Kala(Art) Kuwait “NIRAM 2025” Winners Prize Distribution Ceremony

NIRAM 2025 001 “NIRAM 2025” Children’s Day painting competition in association with American Tourister has concluded with the grand prize distribution to all winners at a colorful ceremonial function held at Indian Community School, Khaithan on Friday, 30th January 2026. The program was witnessed by Community Leaders, Business Personalities, School Principals, Art Teachers, Parents and Media Representatives. The Painting competition was held on 14th November 2025 on the occasion of the birthday of late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of Independent India.

Dr. Mustafa Al-Mosawi, President, Kuwait Transplant Society and Organ Transplant Center, has inaugurated the function. During the inaugural speech, Dr. Mosawi appreciated all winners for their fabulous painting works, which were displayed at the entrance and appreciated the organizers for conducting such a big programs. Also, he proposed to the organization to include next time a theme regarding the importance of Organ Donation and Transplantation.    

The welcome speech was addressed by Mr. Ajith Kumar, Treasurer, Kala (Art) Kuwait. Organization President Mr. Sivakumar P. K. Chaired the function. NIRAM program reporting done by Niram-2025 General Convener Mr. Jiyash Abdulkarem and Judging Assessment was briefed by Niram-2025 Judge Mr. Sasi Krishnan. The 21st Anniversary souvenir of “NIRAM“ was released by Dr. Mustafa Al-Mosawi, handing over the first copy to Mr. Johney Kumar, Niram 2025 Souvenir Convener.

Indian Community School (ICSK) Khaitan Principal Mr. Gangadar Shirshad and Al-Mulla Exchange Marketing Manager Mr. Basil were delivered the felicitation speeches extending their greetings. Kala (Art) Joint Convener Sisita Girish proposed the vote of thanks.

The program was enriched by the presence of the dignitaries on the dais, Kala (Art) Kuwait General Secretary Mr. Aneesh Varghese, Social Activist Mr. Aniyankunju Papachan, Niram Coordinator Mr. Mukesh V. P, Organizing Convener Mr. Shyjith K, Kala(Art) Kuwait office bearers Mr. Sunil Kumar, Mr. Rakesh P. D & Mrs. Joythi Sivakumar.

Panel of Judges Mr. Sasi Krishnan, Mr. Sunil Kulanada, Mr. Hari Chengannur and Mr. Vishnu Jayakrishnan were honored by Kala (Art) Kuwait in recognition of their laudable contributions in the field of Arts. Kala(Art) Kuwait active member Mr. Sunil Kumar were honored at the event for his unconditional contributions to the Niram Program. Mrs. Aneecha Shyjith, Mrs Shrithi Harish and Ms. Fausiya Jiyash performed the compering. The prizes to all the group winners were presented by the dignitaries.

It is noteworthy that a total of 2685 students from 28 Indian schools in Kuwait have participated in the competition classified into 6 groups and the prizes were distributed among, Six 1st Prizes in to each group, Eleven 2nd Prizes, Fourteen 3rd prizes, 66 Merit Prizes and 247 consolation prizes (Total 335 Prizes). The first place winners of each group received a Gold coin & Gold medal, Second place winner with silver medal and Third place winner with bronze medal apart from memento and certificate. Merit Prize & Consolation Prize winners received Trophy, Certificate. All winners have received Aerican Tourister Sponsored Bag.

 

Kala (Art) Kuwait has thanked all the participants as well as School Managements, Sponsors, All Indian Associations, Kuwait's English dailies, Web Portals and Malayalam Medias for their wholehearted support to make the event a grand success. Also thanked the Parents and Art Teachers for their cooperation and support and to the management of Aspire Indian International School, Abbasiya.

Overall Championship: 1st Position- IES-Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan, Abbasiya, 2nd Position – Indian Community School, Salmiya, 3rd Position- Fahaheel Al-Watanieh Indian private School, Ahmadi.

C. Bhaskaran Memorial Trophy as a tribute to Late. Mr. C Bhaskaran, one of the founder and advisory board member of Kala (Art) Kuwait, won by Indian Community School, Khaitan, the school from which maximum numbers of students were participated in this event.
