Santhwanam Kuwait and BDK Host Successful Blood Donation Camp

A joint blood donation camp organized by Santhwanam Kuwait in collaboration with Blood Donors Kerala (BDK) Kuwait Chapter was successfully held on March 12 at the Adan Blood Transfusion Center. The event, conducted in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, saw enthusiastic participation from expatriates across Kuwait.

The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Ameer Ahmed (Advisory Board Member, Santhwanam Kuwait).

The opening ceremony included a welcome address by Camp Convenor Mr. Bivin Thomas and was presided over by Mr. Nimish Kavalam, General Convenor of BDK Kuwait. Felicitations were also delivered by Santhwanam Kuwait General Secretary Mr. Anil Kumar K.S., Vice President Mr. Mathews Mammen, and BDK Kuwait Chapter representative Mr. Rajan Thottathil. The session concluded with a vote of thanks from BDK representative Mr. Nalinakshan Olavara.

The event was coordinated by Santhwanam Kuwait Joint Secretary Mr. Arshad Shareef, along with a dedicated team of volunteers, including Shiny Frank, Jiji Ramesh, Shasheendran T.S., Aby Philipose, Santhosh Kumar S., Prasad K.R., Sumesh T.S., and Saleem Komery. The camp also saw the active participation of 15 student volunteers, led by Anjalita Ramesh, who were presented with certificates for their commitment and service.

Special thanks were extended to all the blood donors, the blood bank staff, volunteers, and parents, as well as to the sponsors Al Ansari Exchange and Al Babtian Auto, and the members of BDK Kuwait for their tireless support in making the camp a success.
