The central government should urgently intervene to provide low-cost travel facilities for Indian expatriates from Kuwait - Supriya Sule M.P.

EPOSupriya Sule M.P., NCP-SP Working President, has said that the central government should urgently intervene to resolve the severe travel crisis faced by expatriate Indians from Kuwait. The letter was sent to Dr. Jaishankar, the Minister of External Affairs, based on a submission made to the central government by Babu Francis, National Convener of NCP-SP Overseas Cell and representative of the Loka Kerala Sabha, requesting urgent intervention.

The letter has requested that in order to assist ordinary expatriates who are in distress due to uncontrolled increases in ticket prices and limited availability of flights, the central government, through diplomatic discussions, facilitate permission for more flight services, including Indian airlines, via various airports in Saudi Arabia, and simplify Saudi transit visa procedures. This is intended to help those who need to travel to India for urgent medical needs, posthumous rituals, and other unforeseen requirements, as well as children traveling back for further studies and qualification exams, and expatriate family members returning on visitor visas. Officials of ONCP   stated in a press release that they expect urgent action from the central government.
