MEGA BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN - RED SALUTE A Tribute to Kuwaiti Defense Personnel

A large gathering of people came together for the “RED SALUTE - MEGA BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN” to honor the brave Kuwaiti Defense Personnel who sacrificed their lives protecting the nation during challenging times.
The event was successfully organized by VVTNS- Kuwait Velinadu Vazh Tamilar Nala Sangam and Trust, under the leadership of its Medical Secretary John Ramesh. It was held on Friday, 19th June 2026, at the Kuwait Jabriya Central Blood Bank.

Dr. S.M. Haider Ali, Founder of M.A. HYTHAR GROUP – Cargo, Travels & Umrah Services, graced the occasion as the Special Guest.

Also present on the dais were Ramdas, CEO of Ramdas Global Technology Company, “Sevai Tamilar” D. Raja, KNPC Engineer and Global Technology Company CEO, and Mr. Shaik Esdani Basha , Branch Manager, - City Clinic - Mahboula
Treasurer Mani Kandan delivered the welcome address and spoke to the gathering.
The program was presided over by Engineer Manivasagam, with senior leaders and advisors sharing the stage, including Senior Advisor Engineer Hameed Rafiq Mohammed, Tamil Marabu Santhai President and VVTNS - Kuwait Advisor Vazhum Vallalar Mr. Seetharaman Tamil Scholar and VVTNS - Kuwait Advisor Vasu Ramanathan & MDMK Kuwait President and VVTNS Kuwait Advisor Engineer Manivasagam
Mr. Shahjahan from the Indian Embassy attended the event and presented Certificates of Appreciation to all blood donors.
More than 500 people from various walks of life, including Tamils from Kuwait, other Indian states, Sri Lanka, and Arab communities, participated in the noble cause. Out of them, over 200 donated bloods.
Several prominent organizations and individuals actively supported the event, including: TVK, DMK, AIADMK, MDMK, Kuwait Thalapathy Peravai, PMMK, VCC, DMDK, MMMK, MJK, KTIC Jamaat, MISK Jamaat, Poondiar Basarai, Kuwait Tamil Makkal Sevai Mayyam, Kuwait Tamil Otunar Sevai Maiyyam, Tamilargal Otunar Maiyyam, Nandavanam, Moovendhar Munnetra Kazhagam, Bollywood Srinivasan, Aranthai Foundation, Golden Singer Chamundeshwari, Social Worker Alibai, Kala Kalapu Friends Group, Ameer John, various press and media outlets, and Tamil Sri Lankan organizations.
A commemorative memento was presented to the Management and Medical Team of the Kuwait Jabriya Central Blood Bank in appreciation of their humanitarian service.

The entire program was efficiently coordinated by the dedicated administrators of Velinadu Vazh Tamilar Nala Sangam and Trust: Saidai Geejo, Noorappa, Naushad, Muthuramalingam, Jayakumar, Rajkumar, Ayyappan, Venkatraman, Ananda Ravi, Pandi, Srinivasan, and the women’s wing administrators Mullai Selvi, Unnamalai, Shanthi, Ayesha, Vijayaleksumi, Dhana Lekshmi, Sakila, Chandra, Geetha.
