TEF Kuwait Conducts Health Awareness Yoga Session – Wellness Recharge: Stretch, Refresh & Rejuvenate

TEF yoga day pic 2Tamil Nadu Engineers Forum - Kuwait (TEF Kuwait) successfully organized its Health Awareness Yoga Session - Wellness Recharge: Stretch, Refresh & Rejuvenate on 19 June 2026 at Al-Sahel Sports Club, Kuwait, promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle among its members and their spouses.

The event was sponsored by Gulf SPIC and organized in association with the Centre for Indian Studies and the Embassy of India, Kuwait. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from TEF members and  focused on the importance of yoga in maintaining physical health, reducing stress, enhancing flexibility and improving overall wellness.

The event commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Elanchelvam, who warmly welcomed the gathering and emphasized the importance of health, wellness, and work-life balance. He highlighted TEF Kuwait's ongoing efforts to foster community engagement and promote the physical and mental well-being of its members.

The yoga session was led by Mr. Ajay Bhobria and Ms. Arpitha Patel, who shared valuable insights on the benefits of yoga and demonstrated practical techniques suitable for individuals of all age groups and fitness levels. Their interactive approach made the session both informative and enjoyable for the participants.

As a gesture of appreciation, the yoga instructors were felicitated by Mr. Rajendra Kannan, President – TEF Kuwait 2026, and Mr. Stanley, General Secretary – TEF Kuwait 2026, in recognition of their valuable contribution to the success of the program.

The event reflected TEF Kuwait's commitment to promoting not only professional excellence but also the health and well-being of its members. TEF Kuwait expressed its sincere gratitude to the Centre for Indian Studies, the Embassy of India, Kuwait, the yoga instructors, sponsors, volunteers, and participants for their support and cooperation.

The session concluded with networking interactions, followed by breakfast, leaving participants refreshed, energized and motivated to embrace a healthier lifestyle through regular yoga practice.
