International Tamil Engineers Forum (ITEF) Kuwait Delegation Meets
Indian Ambassador, Extends Invitation to International Conference scheduled on 29th & 30th November 2026

1000806787A delegation representing the International Tamil Engineers Forum’s (ITEF) Kuwait Chapter met the Ambassador of India to the State of Kuwait, Her Excellency Mrs. Paramita Tripathi, and formally invited her to inaugurate and grace GCC Connect 2026, ITEF’s upcoming international conference in Kuwait.

The ITEF delegation was led by Chairman Er. P. Krishna Jegan and included Kuwait Chapter President Er. Suresh Krishnaswamy, General Secretary Er. Venkatesh Pillai, Treasurer Er. Karthik Elangovan, Vice President Er. Karthik Ramdoss, Joint Secretary for Operations Er. Ananthakumar, Joint Secretary for Startups Er. Rajkumar, Joint Secretary for Membership Er. Mohan Raj, and GCC Connect 2026 Conference Director Dr. Makendhiran Meyyapan.

During the meeting, the delegation briefed the Ambassador about the objectives and proposed programme of GCC Connect 2026. Discussions also covered the conference’s potential role in strengthening India-Kuwait professional and business linkages, showcasing Indian engineering capabilities, supporting startup and investment collaboration, and expanding opportunities for Indian professionals in Kuwait and the wider GCC region. The Ambassador appreciated the contributions made by the Indian community in Kuwait and Her Excellency’s tentatively agreed to participate in the ITEF’s upcoming international conference.

GCC Connect 2026 is scheduled to be held on 29 and 30 November 2026 at Jumeirah Messilah Beach, Kuwait with the theme: ‘Connecting the 3i’s: Innovation, Investment & Impact’. The conference aims to bring together engineers, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, investors, startups and professionals to promote innovation, investment, professional collaboration and meaningful industry impact.

The International Tamil Engineers Forum (ITEF) is a global, multidisciplinary professional organization with a membership base of over 25,000 engineers across more than 40 chapters worldwide. Established as a Section 8 not-for-profit organisation under the Companies Act, 2013, ITEF works across engineering disciplines to promote innovation, professional development, global networking, and ecosystem building.
