ITEF Kuwait Chapter Conducted Workshop on Scalable Startup & Risk Capital in Association with ICAI Kuwait Chapter on 8th September 2026
International Tamil Engineers Forum (Registered as Section 8 in The Companies Act, 2013, Government of India) (ITEF-Kuwait Chapter Registered with Embassy of India to Kuwait) in Association with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAIKC) organized a Workshop on SCALABLE STARTUP & RISK CAPITAL to promote Startup Ecosystem among the participants.
The workshop was conducted by two eminent personalities in the field of building Startup Ecosystem & angel investing. Guest Speakers Mr. Shivarajah & CA. Aswin Sundar enriched the audience on Scalable Startup, Opportunities and Challenges in Angel Investing & Venture Capital funding. The workshop was attended by the members of ITEF Kuwait Chapter, members of ICAIKC and members of IEIKC. ITEF Global team represented by its Chairman Er. Krishna Jegan & Managing Director Er. Selvam and ICAI Kuwait Chapter team led by its Chairperson CA Venkata Ramana Badida and IEI KUWAIT CHAPTER team led by its Chairman Er. KARTIK ELANGOVAN attended the workshop. In addition, the following Guest of Honors graced the event (a) Eng. Atallah A. Almutairi, Chairman, Rank General Trading Co. WLL and (b) Eng. Sulaiman Ashkanani Projects Manager - Al Mulla Group. ITEF Kuwait Chapter thanked the Event Sponsor PEAK National Gen. Trading & Cont. Co.W.L.L .
Event started on a traditional and respectful note with the Kuwait National Anthem followed by the Indian National Anthem. Er. Ananthakumar shared the Safety Moment and Er. Anantharaj shared the Startup Thought for the day. Er. Suresh, President ITEF Kuwait Chapter welcomed the Guest Speakers, Guest of Honors & Delegates. ICAI Kuwait Chapter Chairperson CA Venkata Ramana Badida shared his thoughts on the significance of the collaboration between professional organizations in Kuwait and the expected impact of the workshop. Guest Speakers were introduced to the audience by Er. Rajkumar & Er. Kalaiarasan.
Dr. Makenthiran, Director of ITEF Conference explained about the upcoming ITEF flagship program (International Conference & Exhibition) GCC CONNECT-2026 and invited all Patrons, Sponsors & delegates to participate in the Conference, which is scheduled on 29th & 30th November 2026 at Badriya Ballroom in Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel, Kuwait.
Guest Speaker Mr.Shivarajah enriched the participants with valuable thoughts on Startup & Angel Investing. Guest Speaker CA. Aswin Sundar shared his thoughts on Challenges & Risk involved in Investing, especially Angel Investing. Mr. Shivarajah with Mr. CA. Aswin Sundar clarified the Questions from the audience, and it continued during dinner time also.
Felicitation of the Guest of Honors, Guest Speakers and Event Sponsor was carried out. Event came to an end with Vote of Thanks by ITEF General Secretary Er. Venkatesh, followed with dinner & networking.
Er. Nisha Arumugam & Er. Middleton were the MCs of the event and thanked the speakers and the participants for an insightful & interactive event.
