Tamilnadu Engineers Forum Kuwait (TEF-Kuwait) Hosts 17th TICE and 10th Engineering Excellence Awards
The Tamilnadu Engineers Forum (TEF), Kuwait, successfully hosted the 17th Technological Innovations Conference & Exposition (TICE) and the 10th Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA), at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel Kuwait on 15th Oct’2026, bringing together industry leaders, engineering professionals, academicians and innovators to celebrate technological advancement and professional excellence.
The TEF Kuwait flagship event was attended by over 1,000+ delegates from engineering community, featuring a record 101 Exhibitors, 24 Technical paper presentations and 36 Award recipients, reinforcing TICE’s position as a prominent platform for innovation, knowledge sharing and industry collaboration in Kuwait.
The event started at 7:30 a.m. with cake cutting ceremony, followed by inauguration of the exhibition. The event was inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. Manas Raj Patel, IFS, chargé d'affaires, Embassy of India, Kuwait, Mr. Davinder Punj, Second Secretary, Commerce & Consular, Embassy of India, Kuwait, Mr. Fahad Al Daihani, Chairman of Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) and Mr. Jassem Al Nouri, Chairman of Gulf Alliance for Power & Water Co. Following the inauguration, the distinguished guests toured the exhibition stalls and visited all the participating stalls, exploring the products, technologies, and services on display
Formal conference inauguration ceremony was started at 8.00 AM after the exhibition stall visits by the esteemed guests. The proceedings included welcome address by Mr. Agnel Charles, General Secretary of TEF Kuwait and presidential addresses by Mr. Rajendra Kannan, President of TEF Kuwait. Inaugural address is delivered by Mr. Fahad Al Daihani, Chairman of Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) and Keynote address by Mr. Jassem Al Nouri, Chairman of Gulf Alliance for Power & Water Co.
Engineering Excellence Awards were presented to winners by His Excellency Mr. Manas Raj Patel, IFS, Chargé d'affaires, Embassy of India, Kuwait, Mr. Fahad Al Daihani, Chairman of Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) and Mr. Jassem Al Nouri, Chairman of Gulf Alliance for Power & Water Co. TICE is graced by other distinguished guests including Mr. Talal Mutlaq Al Otaibi, Manager, Associated Gas Operations, Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), Mr.Ahmad Issa Alown, Manager Technical Services, KNPC, Mr. Shuaib M. Shuaib, Manager – Projects & Technical Services from Wafra Joint Operations and Mr. Sabah Al Shammari, Director of Golden Palm Petroleum Services.
A special video presentation showcased TEF’s 27-year journey, highlighting its evolution from a forum founded in December 1999 till today and the legacy of TEF Kuwait and their contribution towards engineering community, technology and innovations.
One of the major highlight was that the 10th Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA), which recognized 36 award recipients of various company and individual from organizations.
The event also acknowledged its presenting partners — AL Arfaj Engineering Co., Golden Palm Petroleum Services, Kuwait Maritime & Mercantile Co. (KMMC) and NOURI Industrial Establishments for their valuable support and partnership.
During the presidential address by TEF-Kuwait president Mr. Rajendra Kannan emphasized that events like TICE are not just about technology; they are also about learning and professional growth. Every presentation, discussion, and interaction provides an opportunity to enhance our knowledge and strengthen our skills. Requested all the participants to use this conference as an opportunity to learn from one another, exchange ideas.
The event was well organized by TEF Kuwait organizing committee and widely recognized and appreciated among the engineering community in Kuwait. Event concluded at 2.30PM with lunch.
