ITEF Kuwait Chapter Conducted Technical Seminar in Al-Hashemi Ballroom, Radisson Blu, Kuwait
ITEF (International Tamil Engineers Forum) is a not-for-profit organization, registered with Government of India as Section-VIII Company with Er. Krishna Jegan as the Chairman, Er. Selvam as the Managing Director, started with a commitment to advancing professional development, enabling structured networking platforms, and supporting skill development.
ITEF Kuwait Chapter, the one & only ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 certified Not-for-profit Engineering organization conducted a technical seminar on 27th October 2026 in Al-Hashemi Ballroom, Radisson Blu, Salwa, Kuwait. The seminar was designed with the presentation of two innovative technologies a) Failsafe Electrical Actuators by Ms SHIEBEL, Austria and b) Rotating Equipment Expertise by Ms Hydro Inc. USA.
Event Started with National Anthems followed with Safety Moment by Er. Vasudevan (Safety Engineer KNPC) on SAFETY in DESIGN and the Startup Thought for the Day was shared by Er. Rajkumar (Jt. Sec – Startup-ITEF). Welcome address was shared by Er. Karthik Ramdoss, VP ITEF Kuwait Chapter. ITEF Kuwait chapter leaders displayed the ISO certificates to the audience and congratulated the team led by Er. Mohan Raj, who was pivotal behind the ISO certification process.
1st session on Failsafe Electrical Actuators was conducted by Mr. Felix Schiebel, General Manager, Schiebel Actuators, Austria and Er. Sathish Kumar, MD, Schiebel Middle East. The 2nd session on Rotating Equipment Expertise was handled by Er. Thomas Arakal, MD, Ms HYDRO, MENA Region. Both sessions were very interesting with highly interactive Q&A sessions.
The event was well attended by industry leaders from both Oil & Gas and MEW, which made it look like a mini-conference. Sabiya power-plant Director Er. Rashidi, Er. Ali Kankouni Team Leader Fire (Support Services) – KOC, Er. Faud Dhasthi – Superintendent Electrical Section Sabiya power-plant, Mohammed Dubairy Sr. Engr. Mech-N&WK-KOC, Er. Sulaiman Ashkanani Project Manager Al Mulla Group, Er. Atallah AL Mutairi, Chairman - Ms Rank, Er. Ali Al Mutairi CEO-Ms RANK and Er. Senthilnathan, Senior Operations Manager – HEISCO attended the event in which the innovative technological ideas were shared & discussed.
ITEF has scheduled to conduct the annual International Conference on 29th & 30th November 2026 at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel, Kuwait with the theme: “Connecting the 3i’s: Innovation; Investment & Impact”. Conference director Dr. Makenthiran highlighted the details of the conference and invited all the participants to the conference. In this regard, under the guidance of Global Chairman Er. Krishna Jegan, ITEF Kuwait Chapter President Er. Suresh and Executive members have put forward their efforts to organize the upcoming International Conference in a grand manner.
The event came to an end with the felicitation of Presenters, ITEF annual sponsors Ms. KMMC, Ms. SATCO Energy and the event sponsors Ms RANK Kuwait & Ms TEXEL Engineering Kuwait and vote of thanks was shared by Er. Ananthakumar, Jt. Sec. - ITEF Kuwait Chapter.
