New course launched at IIM-Trichy
A special post-graduate programme in human resource management (PGPHRM) for working professionals in the city was launched by IIM-Trichy on Tuesday.
The three-year course will be have four evening classes in a week. The idea is to help professionals continue their professional education while working, said IIM-T director Prafulla Agnihotri in the city.
As the course will be held in the centre regularly, it's not a part-time but an executive course, he said. "The first year of the course will have the same syllabus as the post graduate programme in business management (PGPBM), which we launched two years ago. The next two terms will focus on core concepts and application-based HR courses," he said.
Professionals who have work experience of three years and more can apply for the course, which is set to being in July this year.
