Central Government Attestation 

The right of attestation to be given to the passport Officer – KDNA

Kozhikode District NRI Association demands the right of attestation of all important documents to be empowered upon the passport officer on behalf of Ministry of External Affairs and requested to His Excellency, the Ambassador of India to Kuwait Mr. Sunil Jain during the meeting held with the KDNA Officials at Indian Embassy. On behalf of the expatriates the request was faxed to Sri. Narendra Modi, the Prime of India and to Mrs. Sushama Swaraj, the External Affairs Minister.

Among the expatriates the Keralites are facing tremendous problems to acquire the authentication of the Central Government External Affairs Authorities which is very tedious, confusing & tiresome in turn causes high time loss and financial loss.

The passport Officer is the supreme authority for issuing important documents like passport.  Hence this officer should be given the authority to attest the certificates and other official document.  The Ambassador assured the KDNA representatives that he will inform about this and discuss the matter with the high officials from the Central Government and try to solve the problem amicably. He also applauded the KDNA for its massive charity services rendered to the penurious people and the active and timely participation in all aspects of the daily life of Malayalees.

Malabar Mahotsavam, the iconic program of KDNA will be held on 27^th February 2015, Friday at the Indian Central School, Abbassiya and our Ambassador has consented to inaugurate it.

The KDNA representatives constitute the President Azeez Thikkodi, General Secretary Sathian Varoonda, Ad. Board member Zubair MM, Vice President Suresh Mathur, Membership Secretary K. Alikoya, Charity Secretary Ilyas Thottatil, Executive members Santosh Punattil, Mohanraj & Mohammed Iqbal.
