‘Problems are golden eggs’- 

...These are famous words in management terminology. You cannot survive without problems in this world. We should always not try going away from our problems. Instead we should learn to face the problem. Only then we can find a solution. “If you follow the above principle, you can make your life more meaningful, enriching, successful, experience reality and live with maturity”. These are the motivational words of Mr. S. Ramachandran.
Mr. Ram learned these qualities from his mother who is 82 years old and living in Chennai.  He is generally known to everybody by name Mr. Ram.  These qualities are what brought him to what he is today.
Mr. Ram though born and brought up in Chennai, hails from Valangaiman village, Kumbakonam, Tamilnadu. His father,  Late. N. Sivapanchanadam and mother Mrs. Kanakavalli comes from a middle class family. Mr. Ram has four elder brothers and two elder sisters and he is the youngest of the seven in the family.  His father had worked in Dubai for more than a decade while the children were brought-up by his mother. Mr. Ram’s mother is the role model for him and he dedicates his success to her.
Since Mr. Ram comes from a big and a middle class family, he has the experience of facing health and financial problems of his family members from his childhood to come up in life. His personal experiences in life have given him a fighting spirit by which he learned how to taste success.
Mr. Ram is a B. Com., FCA, NCMP from India and ACCA from UK. He did his schooling from Ramakrishna Mission at Chennai. He did his Bachelors in B.Com through University of Madras from D.B. Jain College, Chennai. After finishing his college he took his CA training with Frazer and Ross Chartered Accountants Chennai.

His journey through a career in accounting, finance & audit has been fascinating with wide ranging hands on experience with systems in Multinational audit firms, financial services, Training and Manufacturing companies. HIs first exposure to audit practices was as an audit trainee at Fraser & Ross Chartered Accountants (member firm Deloites) where he developed and honed his skills in various types of audits covering a wide range of industries.

In a continuing quest for excellence in learning the best audit practices, he joined Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants as an audit trainee, which was his first exposure on a comprehensive scale to management consulting. This served to further enhance his confidence and he took the plunge into Financial Services as a Senior Executive in the Internal Audit Department of Sterling Holiday Financial Services.

To further strengthen his knowledge on the various financial products, he joined Immer Tatig Financial & Consultancy services (P) ltd., as Asst. Manager – Finance & Accounts. In his quest to gain quality exposure to financial systems in manufacturing companies, he joined P. Mittulaul Lalah & Sons ( Lalah’s ) as a Senior Manager – Finance. Considering his career growth, he joined Nicco Uco Alliance Credit Ltd. as Deputy Manager – Accounts.

Keeping his long stint in India as base, he embarked on an overseas assignment and joined Yousuf Ahmed Alghanim (YAAS) as Financial Analyst in Kuwait. After leaving YAAS, he joined The British Institute of Training and Education, Kuwait as a full-time lecturer in Accountancy & Financial Studies taking classes for students of both technician and professional levels of ACCA, UK. After leaving BITE, for a brief period, he took up a temporary assignment for implementing an ACCA accountancy-training project with TIL Consultants Kuwait.

Presently he is working with Al Mulla International Financing & Investment Co. KSCC (AMIFIC is a 100% Subsidiary of Al Soor Financing & Leasing Co. KSCC) one of the leading group of companies based at Kuwait. He joined AMIFIC as Senior Financial Analysts and in recognition of his hard work, dedication and sincerity; he got elevated to the post of Assistant Financial Controller within a short period.

Since he developed the skill of teaching, he is presently taking guest lectures on part-time basis with Ernst & Young (EY) Training Kuwait to preserve and improve his training skills and at the same time have some personal satisfaction by imparting knowledge to student’s community. He can rate his training skills at par with a professional trainer capable of handling learned audience.

Mr. Ram considers his abilities in financial management and accounting, investment analysis, project appraisal, feasibility study, business plan and budgeting, internal and external auditing, ability to work proficiently in evaluating financial products, analysis of financial statements, treasury activities, professional training, presentation skills and disposition as a hardcore accounts, audit and finance professional as a major area of strength.

He is proud of his wife who renders immense support for his hard work and success. His wife Mrs. Lakshmi Ramachandran hails from Nagapattinam encourages and supports him in all his endeavours.  She is a B.E and M. Tech Computer Science graduate from Regional Engineering College, Trichy. She is a very simple person and a successful homemaker. They are blessed with two sons -Master. Sivasubramaniyaan and Ramanna.

Mr. Ram is the youngest member of an extended family consisting of 6 other siblings. This milieu has served to instil in him strong family values coupled with a robust system of values. Reading Tamil magazine “thuglak” is his first preference during leisure hours.

Mr. Ram is a bridge player and he plays this game from his teen age. He has a clear vision in his mind and is steadily making his move closer in that direction to achieve his ambition. Going forward, his ambition is to start his own training and consulting company in India and to become a successful entrepreneur.
