Varalaxmi Sarathkumar IFLWithin her short tryst in the world of cinema, Varalaxmi has already garnered several awards with her riveting performances. Considered one among the most unconventional actors in the Southern film industry, the bold beauty always speaks her mind with no room for diplomacy. She always tried to break boundaries as an actress and made sure that there are no repetitive roles. Even before the #metoo movement picked up in Indian cinema, Varalaxmi addressed the prevailing sexual harassment and the measures to be taken on it. In the year 2017, she has started a campaign ‘Save Sakthi’ to fight for Women Empowerment.

Instead of settling as a commercial heroine, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar chose the hard way. She stepped into the shoes of antagonist role which she essayed with great ease and panache and proved herself to be an actress complete in every way.
