FIMA's Appeal to Indian Aviation

FIMA's Appeal to Indian Aviation

Federation of Indian Muslim Associations (FIMA) held a press release expressing concerns over exorbitant price hikes in airfares by airlines to Indian Sector. A strong majority of the airlines increased the airfares for the summer causing the shutdown for Jet Airways, having only a quota of 400 seats per day. All of those passengers, especially the families, who were hoping to reschedule their trips, have a hefty fee of change in tickets to pay, without any alternatives.

FIMA requests the Government of India, Civil Aviation Minister, Foreign Minister and Embassy of India to expedite the process of reviving the Jet Airways or allotting these routes to new economy airlines, so that the large Indian air passengers may get home to those waiting for them without selling an arm for it.
