Educationist Dr. Anis Ahmad (Director SIMS) honoured at British Parliament

Dr. Anis Ahmad who is the Director of Salmiya Indian Model School, Kuwait  has been honored and awarded the “EXCELLENCE IN SCHOOL EDUCATION AWARD 2019” in British Parliament.

He has been awarded for his valuable contribution in the field of education. His services towards Teacher empowerment has been internationally recognized by the Indian Education authorities and British council.

EXCELLENCE IN SCHOOL EDUCATION AWARD 2019 was organized in collaboration of British Parliament in Churchill Room, House of Commons, British parliament, London on 20th November 2019 by Intelligent Mind Trust, New Delhi, India.

The dignitaries present on this occasion were:

Lord Dobe from the House of Lords, Baroness Thornton Labour and Co-operative member of the House of Lords. She was previously Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Health. Ms. Seema Malhotra British Labour and Co-operative Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Feltham and Heston. Spiritual Guru Gaur Gopal Das, Mr. Sanyam Bhardwaj Examination controller, CBSE, New Delhi, India and Mr. Rajesh Bajaj, Trustee, Intelligent Mind Trust, New Delhi.

Dr. Anis Ahmad is currently the director of Salmiya Indian Model School and has a vast experience of 36 years in Education. He has worked in different organizations like government, semi government and private.

He is an educationist par excellence and is a social activist too. Though he is based in Kuwait for the last 20 years, he has never forgotten his roots. He has been running a charitable school for poor people in his village in India for the last 13 years. He is also working on a new school project in his home town in India to provide quality education at an affordable price. . The new school will start functioning from April 2020 in the name of International Academy of Scholars

As a social activist and advocate of literacy, he has organized various educational awareness programmes in rural areas of India specially in the districts of Baghpat, Meerut, Muzaffar Nagar, Shamli of Uttar Pradesh.

We congratulate him on being honored in British Parliament. We are proud of him.
