The Civil Service Commission approved the proposal to grant electronic sick leave
The Civil Service Commission approved the proposal of the Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, regarding obtaining sick leave without medical consultation via electronic platforms.
Ministry of Health and the Information Systems Sector is working on completing the procedures required to launch this new service. According to the new system, once implemented the employee can obtain sick leave without visiting the health center, provided that the duration of the sick leave granted to the employee does not exceed 3 days in a month.
