Kuwait metropolis is the world's second worst metropolis for air quality

 
 
 

Kuwait City ranked second worst city in the world in the latest Air Quality Index (AQI) with a score of 210; while the Bangladeshi capital – Dhaka is in first place with a score of 237 and Chengdu, China in third place with a score of 200, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

An AQI result between 51 and 100 indicates that the air quality is moderate, it is classified as unhealthy for sensitive groups if the result is between 101 and 150 and a place is considered unhealthy if the result ranges from 151 to 200. An AQI score of 201 to 300 is considered an emergency with health warnings, in which case children, the elderly and the sick are urged to limit their indoor and outdoor activities.
