Kuwait will unveil a brand-new, contemporary Shuwaikh Beachfront on October 1

Kuwait Municipality will inaugurate the new Shuwaikh Beach Project on Wednesday, October 1. Developed with a 3 million dinars donation from the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), the project stretches across 1.7 kilometers and is designed to transform the waterfront into a modern leisure destination that balances environmental, health, sports, and entertainment needs.

The development consists of four distinct zones. The first includes sports fields, recreational areas, and extensive green spaces, alongside renovated facilities such as the mosque, restrooms, and commercial kiosks. It also provides space for future kiosks, ATMs, and ITMs.

The second zone features a sandy beach complemented by wooden benches, while the third offers an enclosed garden with shaded green spaces, trees, and relaxation areas designed for tranquility. The fourth zone forms the project’s entry point and includes an interactive life-sized checkers game, expansive lawns, and multi-purpose courtyards.

The Municipality emphasized that the project reflects its commitment to enhancing public spaces and promoting healthy, active lifestyles for residents and visitors.
