ENGLISH WORKSHOP AT FAIPS, DPS, KUWAIT

A three day workshop on 'Enhancement of Listening and Speaking Skills' was conducted at FAIPS, DPS Kuwait on the 4th, 5th and 6th of October 2015, for primary and middle school English teachers. Faculty from other CBSE schools in Kuwait also attended the workshop. Ms.Kiran Misra, an eminent linguist from Delhi was the resource person, who equipped the teachers with accessible and effective techniques to teach this foreign language.

The workshop was immensely informative and instructive. She enlightened the English teachers with Inductive and Deductive teaching approaches which aim at  achieving various goals in teaching this profound language. 'Each child is unique and it is the teacher's responsibility to tap the innate talent and groom him/her with various strategies to enable the child to learn the language ' said Ms.Misra.

At the end of the workshop the teachers were given participation certificates and one of the teachers from the host school proposed the vote of thanks.
