ICSK KHAITAN CELEBRATED 67^TH REPUBLIC DAY

The 67^th Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at the Khaitan branch of the Indian Community School Kuwait. The students of classes LKG to 10 conducted special assemblies paying honour and homage to our mother land India.

The function started with a prayer followed by a speech and a skit paying tributes to the National Heroes. This showed their patriotic spirit and love towards their nation. The nightingales of Khaitan presented a patriotic song in which the whole school joined and the song reverberated in the campus.

An informative power point presentation was shown about the development and historical significance of the freedom struggle. Cultural programmes representing all the states were displayed through this, the students of ICSK Khaitan got a clear picture of Republic Day and its importance.

The Principal Mr. K.G.Shirsath addressed the gathering and urged them to do their best and make their country proud. The student’s dispersed with the image of the fluttering tricolor in their minds.
