India International School - Junior Investiture Ceremony

IISStudents of today are the torch bearers and visionaries of tomorrow. Culmination of such visions and missions results in ‘Leaders’. Leadership is development of personality inclusive of life skills that nurtures humane qualities. Junior School Investiture Ceremony on 4 May, 2016 at IISM was one such humble attempt to bring forth leaders pledging their responsibilities for the better of it.

Gracing the occasion was chief guest Reverend Sam Biju, Vicar, Marthoma Parish, Ahmadi and guest of honour Mrs. Suzan Biju. Master Neelson, ex Head Boy of Senior School, had the privilege of presenting bouquet to the guests.

Master Faadil Salim and Miss Nuha Noufal as head Boy and Head Girl and the core council members along with the Members of the four Houses, Sarabhai, Shanthinikethan, Homibaba and Nalanda, were sworn in as the newly selected members of school senate of Junior Section.

They were officially vested with their powers and positions by the chief guest, Reverend Sam Biju Vicar and guest of honour Mrs. Suzan Biju, Director Mr. Malayil Moosa Koya, Principal Mr. F M Basheer Ahmed, Senior Vice Principal Mrs. Narinder Kaur, Vice Principals Mrs. Sapna Raoof, Mr Salim, Mrs. Sophy John, Mrs. Indulekha Suresh and KG-HOD Mrs. Nilofur Kazi, respectively.

Flag and badge presentation and oath taking, the official procedures of the investiture ceremony, were indeed a defining moment for the entire senate. The newly formed council was addressed by the chief guest of upholding the values of the school while discharging their duties honestly and impartially. As a mark of warm regard, Director Mr. Malayil Mosa Koya presented Reverend Sam Biju with a memento.                                                And taking this opportunity, he felicitated ‘High Achievers’ of Junior School with certificates and sealed their moment of success with ‘scholar badges’. Miss Ayesha Minha of class I, Miss Aisha Aijaz of class II, Miss Reeba Roy of class III, Master Faadil Mohammed of class IV and Miss Zainab Aijaz and Master Harish Thiyakarajan of class V topped the grades with school’s standardized scores. The program was co-ordinated by C.C.A. incharge Mrs. Sridevi Neelakannan.

Audiences of distinguished parents were pleased at their wards achievements and fellow mates, with their peer’s representation as their own. Melodious, soul touching songs and graceful, scintillating dance moves added perfect end to a fresh start.
