ICSK KHAITAN CELEBRATES INDIAN REPUBLIC DAY
It was most enthralling and exciting Republic Day celebrations at ICSK Khaitan on 25th Jan. 2017 as the school grabbed the attention of students as well as the teachers during the entire week which culminated on 25th January 2017.
There were charts put up sending effective messages of the Indian Republic which sent a wave of assurance of the efforts of the freedom fighters and the hardwork and dedication of Dr.B.R. Ambedkar in drafting the Indian Constitution which is the largest written Constitution in the world.
Although India became a free nation from the British rule on August 15, 1947, the true spirit of Independence could be enjoyed from January 26, 1950 as the constitution was brought in into practice from this day.
Here, in ICSK (Khaitan) we also celebrated the day with pride and patriotic fervor. The assembly was conducted on 25th January, 2017 on this special theme. Children were dressed up as distinguished freedom fighters. The Indian flag was hoisted by the Principal, Mr.K. G. Shirsath, who gave a special message. During the break patriotic songs were sung. The campus was filled with students dressed up in the colours of the Indian flag that is saffron, white, blue and green.
There were special assemblies at all levels of the school. These assemblies filled the students with true patriotism.
The culmination of the celebrations was marked by distribution of chocolates to all and the singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ at the end of the day.
