TRENDSETTING SECOND SUMMIT CONFERENCE ON ACADEMIC

EXCELLENCE HELD AT ICSK

The Indian Community School Kuwait, added yet another milestone to its illustrious history, when the Second 'ICSK Summit Conference', a discussion forum for achieving “Academic excellence through quality enhancement” was held on 20^th September 2017 at ICSK Senior. The prime focus of this summit was to bring to light the various means to attain heights of excellence in the forthcoming CBSE board examinations AISSE and AISSCE (Classes X & XII).

Mr. Rajesh Nair, Principal (Amman Branch) extended a warm welcome to the galaxy of intellectuals who attended the conference which included the members of the Board of the Trustees, Principals and Vice Principals of all the branches of ICSK, the Heads of Departments, Assistant Heads of Departments  Academic Supervisors and Subject Coordinators.

Honorary Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mr. Shaikh Abdul Rahman and Honorary Secretary Mr. A. Amer Mohammed in their felicitation addressesurged each and everyone present there to have excellent thoughts as “Excellent thoughts transform gradually into excellent actions and excellent actions pave way for envying success”.

Senior Administrator and Principal (Senior Branch) Dr. V.Binumon presented the topic of discussion and emphasized that educational excellence through quality enhancement essentially calls for the undying support, dedication, commitment and sacrifice of four strong pillars - the management, the teaching faculty, the parents and the students and urged the stakeholders to keep the balance so as to achieve the long cherished dream of academic excellence and success. He highlighted in his address that “Excellence is an attitude” and the change in one’s attitude, will usher one to the threshold of astounding achievements.

All the members of the eminent gathering actively participated in the discussion. Principals, Vice-Principals, Heads of Departments, Assistant Heads of Departments, Academic Supervisors and Subject Coordinators shared their valuable thoughts about creating academic excellence at ICSK. The discussion whichpaved way for vibrant, innovative and creative views on accomplishing academic excellence through quality enhancement, aiming at the upliftment of this prestigious institution turned out to be a fruitful session involving active discussions and healthy exchange of valuable ideas to enhance the quality of education at ICSK.

Mr. Gangadhar Shirsath, Principal (Khaitan Branch) rendered vote of thanks to the august gathering. He expressed gratitude and delight to all the attendees for their presence and for actively participating in the discussion so that ICSK can scale greater heights of success.

The attendees dispersed with a strong determination to passionately pursue and maintain the legacy of academic excellence and accomplishment at ICSK to commence a joyous journey that hopefully will bring much elation and success in the next academic year.
