The Indian Community School Kuwait, Junior Christmas

THE INDIAN COMMUNITY SCHOOL KUWAIT, JUNIOR

Christmas is here!

ICSK Junior celebrates the festival a joy and peace in a grand style.  A choir around 95 tiny Santas with 9 wonderful Christmas songs all dressed up in the colours of the season sang Gloria welcoming the arrival of baby Jesus.

A play enacting the ‘nativity story’ followed which took the audience back to those times and left them with the joyous feelings of being witness to the birth of Jesus Christ.

No celebrations are complete without a foot tapping dance number.  So here they were! The stars of ICSK with a wonderful dance number!  The mass awaited man of the season ‘ Santa Claus’.  Three students dressed as Santa Claus arrived with bag full of surprises.

The Principal, Mrs. Sherly Dennis, in her Christmas address talked about the importance of the festival and the importance of Sharing and Caring.  In her influential speech, she also requested the children to make a New Year resolution “Make one person happy one day”.

Christmas is a festival of giving and sharing without expecting anything in return.  Christmas remind us to be humble in our ways and reassures us that all are equal in the eyes of God.
