Our French Students bring laurels to FAIPS

Le Frehindi, Paris, organized the prestigious Inter-School International Concours d’orthographe 2017 (International French Spell Bee Competition-2017), an event open to school students of French in non-Francophone countries. The success of this contest lies in its Unique Concept, Quality and Popularity among thousands of school students. The French students of Fahaheel Al Watanieh Indian Private School, Kuwait took active participation in the first two rounds topping their zone. They won the Zonal Topper Trophy in Round 2. Three students were selected to take part in the finals of the International French Spell bee competition held in NewDelhi, on 16^th January 2018. They represented Kuwait in three different levels: Debutant, Intermediate and Advanced. Around 130 contestants were there for the finals from 11 different zones and from all over India. Rohita Mahesh, Class 9, representing FAIPS, Kuwait moved into the Grand finale in the advanced category with an excellent show. Sreya Premugh, Class 7, marched into the Grand finale category Debutant with a breath taking performance. The Grand finale was held in the afternoon of 16^th January. Rohita Mahesh impressed everyone with her presentation, and command of the language. She was placed second in the Advanced level category. Shreya was unstoppable in her category (Debutant) and came out winner by an outstanding performance. This was a maiden effort at the International French Spell bee competition and the French students of FAIPS did an excellent job and impressed all with their outstanding show. Thanks to the Principal, Vice Principal and French teachers of FAIPS for their support and training.
