Blessing Ceremony -ANUGRAH for Class VI – 2017-18

In a special assembly held on Thursday 15^th March 2018, class V students of the Indian Community School Kuwait Salmiya Junior accorded a grand farewell to the outgoing students of class VI, who are moving to ICSK Senior for higher studies. The occasion was made more solemn with the mothers also being honoured during the program. During the ceremony mementos were presented to students of class VI. As a token of love and respect, every child gave a self made card to their mothers.

Principal Mrs.Sherly Dennis in her address motivated the students to prepare themselves for life outside school and waking them up to the reality of life after school. In her address, the esteemed chief guest Mrs. Navniit Gandhi emphasized on nurturing mother and child relationship especially during the adolescent years.

A heartwarming skit and reminiscences were presented by the students, making the students recollect their memories from the day they had stepped into the school. This was followed by a sensational group song and a theme based mesmerizing dance.

 The President of the School Senate Master Johann Premjith extended a deep gratitude to the teachers and the school.

On behalf of ICSK Junior fraternity educative and positive message was delivered by the Academic Supervisor Mrs. Anita Handa, to instill and infuse confidence in the outgoing students. A group song was presented by the parents who patronized the students for a brighter future.

Along with the ceremony the winners of the Discover I were awarded with their trophies and certificates.

The event was concluded by a vote of thanks by the vice principal Mrs. Sheeja bidding adieu to the outgoing batch.
