ICSK-KHAITAN HOSTS CAREER GUIDANCE SESSIONThe Indian Community School, Khaitan, hosted a Career Gudiance Session for students of Classes IX, X and XI in the field of Commerce on Saturday, 17th November 2018, in the school auditorium. Two experienced professionals, Mr. Mayank Baxi and Ms. Mitali Baxi conducted a comprehensive career guidance session in a most lucid manner.

ICSK-KHAITAN HOSTS CAREER GUIDANCE SESSIONThe session commenced with an introduction of the distinguished speakers by Mr. Manish, the Commerce faculty. Mr. K. G. Shirsath, Principal, ICSK Khaitan, welcomed the guests to the occasion and stressed the need for the students to derive full benefit of the session.

The speakers - Mr. Mayank H Baxi, CA, CEO of Humansoft Holding Company Kuwait, and Ms. Mitali Baxi, MS (HR and Labour Relations) and SHRM Certified Professional- elaborated upon the broad career options in Commerce. It was an immensely beneficial rare opportunity for the students to know ICSK-KHAITAN HOSTS CAREER GUIDANCE SESSIONabout the wide array of job opportunities available in today’s rapidly-changing world. The session threw light upon various core and non-core career opportunities available to students in the field of Commerce. The speakers also informed the students about various courses available to them which may help them to fulfil their career dreams.  The session ended with a question and answer session, wherein Mr. Mayank Baxi and Ms. Mitali Baxi answered the questions raised by the inquisitive students to their satisfaction.

ICSK-KHAITAN HOSTS CAREER GUIDANCE SESSIONToday, the opportunities to work and to do business are growing at an exponential rate. This brings with it not only a welcome choice, but also an attendant confusion. The insightful talk and the enlightening question-answer session did help the students to make an informed choice of their career.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms Alpha Susan Jaimon, of class XI B.
