Annual Sports Field Fiesta

The significance of fitness was displayed in its full glory on 31st January 2019 when classes 1, 2 and 3 of FAIPS DPS presented their Annual Sports Field Fiesta. Inspectors of Department of Private Education, Kuwait were the Guests of Honour. They, along with Principal, Headmistress, Senior Mistress and all the sports teachers released the colourful balloons displaying the happiness in rising up to flying high.

The Head boy of the Primary School addressed and welcomed the August gathering. The rendition of welcome song brightened up the day with soulful voices echoing in the nature. The butterfly dance evoked nature’s blessings with little girls dancing in tune with cadence music. The importance of peace in today’s world was displayed by the class 2 Hoola Hoop drill by forming the peace symbol. They also showed their dance and aerobic skills in their Zumba drill. The young talents of class 1 showed their disciplined, flexible and coordinated movements in various drills.

The Yoga display with slow movements by class 3 signified the importance of building strength, increasing flexibility and cultivating peace of mind. The Step Aerobics display of class 3 was an exhibition of rapid high intensity movements involving stepping up and down on to a stationary block.

The event came to an end with a well-deserved vote of thanks.
