Kindergarten Graduation day celebrated at ICSK - Khaitan

The Indian community School Kuwait-Khaitan bubbled with excitement and enthusiasm when it celebrated its UKG graduation day and the crowning ceremony on Thursday, 14th March, 2019.  Kindergarten graduation is a celebration that marks the journey of a child to a School in which they will be spending 10 long years facing ups and downs and experimenting and exploring new ideas and things and shaping themselves in to tomorrow’s world. The proceedings started with the recital of verses from the Holy Quran followed by the National Anthems of Kuwait and India. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the guest Mrs. Nita Bhatkar Chogle and Mrs. Muneera Mallu from Indian Women’s Association (IWA).

The programme began with a welcome dance by LKG children and left everybody spell bound with their mesmerizing performance. Principal in his address welcomed the parents and as well as the guest from Indian Women’s Association (IWA) in Kuwait, an organization selflessly serving the community for last 22 years.

The rising stars selected from each class received their awards and were crowned for their co-curricular proficiency. Keeping in mind the graduation day theme-nature the kids performed and had put up a great show of confidence and charisma. Their energy and vibrancy enthralled all the spectators as they all joined in to ‘celebrate learning’. The students presented an endearing dance performance, the energy and exuberance of the children was a joy to behold.

At last vote of thanks was presented by Ameya from prep, where she extended special thanks to her teachers, parents and entire School team for their restless efforts to made the function a great event. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for not only the little ones but also a proud moment for the parents and the mentors as they received their KG graduation day Diplomas from the guests. May God bless these tiny “graduates” as they continue their education in the main stream of the School.
