Workshop on “Entrepreneurship” at Salmiya Indian Model School

A workshop on “Entrepreneurship” was conducted by INJAZ Kuwait Innovation Camp on 15th October 2019 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in the school auditorium. The workshop was attended by Commerce Students of Grade 11 and 12, students of 9 IGCSE and 10 IGCSE. The esteemed guests Mr. Abdullah Alhmily and Ms. Rena of the Injaz Group were welcomed by Ms. Anita Sadanand. The seminar began with a brief introduction about Injaz and its objective by Mr. Abdullah. In the first part of the session, he stressed on the importance of pursuing ones passion followed by a group discussion on the advantages of being an Entrepreneur, the importance of Skill and Entrepreneurship Development.
The second part of the session began after a short break. The students were divided into4 groups. They were provided with one and a half hour to discuss, design and sell their business ideas. Students presented their innovative ideas on the stage and were judged accordingly.
Before announcing the results, Mr. Abdullah asserted to never get discouraged by failure, as failure is an integral part of success. The seminar ended by awarding the winners of the competition.
The workshop was a valuable experience for the commerce students which will encourage them to chase their dreams, think out of the box and fulfil their dreams and ambitions.
The INJAZ Innovative Camp wrapped up with a memorable group photo session, leaving behind promises for more entrepreneurial skill development programmes in the near future.
