UKG FANCY DRESS COMPETITION
Learning can be fun. Blending learning with fun does wonders in children. Kinaesthetic learning gives children an opportunity to express their skills through hands-on experiments, role plays and so on. One such event where the tiny tots depicts characters on stage showcasing their hidden talents is fancy-dress competition.
IES and Jack and Jill (branch of Bhavans at Mangaf) organized and conducted its lavish and grand Fancy Dress Competition from October 20 to 22 for UKG in the .jpg)
school auditorium. The display was thoroughly an amalgamation of parents’ enthusiasm, children’s scintillating impersonations and teachers’ tremendous support in making it possible on stage. The theme was ‘Birds’. The enlivened moments on stage reflected children’s abilities to sink into their character they had come prepared for. The kindergarteners wore costumes depicting birds like peacock, sparrow, ostrich, crow, rooster, eagle, Scarlet Macaw and so on. There was a mixed bag of accompanying speeches. Some delivered crisp and compendious details while others went on to speak elaborately showcasing excellent knowledge and awareness on the costume they sported.
The competition enhanced their self-esteem and proved to be a fruitful learning experience for them. The enthusiasm and zeal with which the children performed was extremely praiseworthy, leaving the judges spellbound.
The mesmerizing show will indeed remain etched in our memory for a long time to come.
