CHRISTMAS – NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS AT IISM

Delightful December enfolded in its bosom a week of enduring fun filled activities to mark the momentous charismatic Christmas celebrations at India International School, Mangaf.

Corridors spruced up theirs walls and foyer areas with a plethora of ostentatious decorations in harmony with winter festoons.

A customary and traditional Christmas celebration was organized on 17th and 23rd December by the junior sections .Invigorated with zeal and enthusiasm, students sang carols melodiously to express their merriment. Their sweet voices and rich melody filled the air with splendid ambience. Garbed in red and white colors to symbolize the significance of the day, our alluring students mesmerized the spectators. Winter pavilion set up was the center of attraction beautifully crafted and elegantly exhibited displaying the dexterity of the teachers.

To inculcate in the young minds  the importance of sharing and caring ,students were asked to bring home made food and relish the same with their class mates .Along with this, to encourage the spirit of compassion and generosity towards the support staff ,gifts were presented to them as a token of appreciation for the hard work they put in .This fostered in them the spirit to learn a vital life skill in childhood –‘Love Towards Humanity’.

The spirit of Christmas and New Year gusto was equally unraveled by the senior section too .A spectacular skit portraying Nativity of Jesus Christ speckled with a glorious crib was displayed by our talented students . Highlight of the program was the delightful appearance of Santa Claus, that thrilled the audience with screams and cheers.

The glorious day was concluded with an eloquent speech proposed by the Senior Vice Principal, Sophy John. She appreciated and congratulated all the teachers and students in carrying out the day’s celebration with relentless efforts and motivated the students to formulate new resolutions for the upcoming new year. On behalf of the Management she extended warm greetings and wishes to all the family members - Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
