FAIPS DPS Won 'The First National Championship Quiz'
FAIPS DPS QUIZZERS WIN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Students of Fahaheel Al-Watanieh Indian Private School (DPS), Kuwait have once again asserted their dominance in the Kuwait Quizzing circuit by winning ‘The First National Championship Quiz conducted by International Quizzing Association, Asia, Kuwait Chapter on 24 January 2020 in Indian Community School, Khaitan. The Chief Guest was N. Prashant (IAS), Managing Director of KSINC and KIIDC.
The winning team comprising Kurian Thomas M and Sharon M Thomas, took on the challenge from 15 participating school teams and won by a huge margin with an amazing performance that earned plaudits from India’s renowned quiz master, Mr. Snehaj Srinivas.
Out of 76 participating teams in the preliminary round consisting of 15 challenging questions, two teams from FAIPS (DPS) made it to the finals. The team comprising Tarun Sunil M and Adit Kashyap also performed impressively in the Finals.
Answering questions ranging on all subjects, much beyond the level of school curriculum, the FAIPS teams enthralled the audience with their knowledge, intelligence and lateral thinking abilities. The continued success story was made possible due to the combined effort of the quiz teachers and the students under the able guidance of the Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli.
