IES CLAIMS A CLEAN SWEEP IN THE GREEN OLYMPIAD 2021-2022.

GREEN OLYMPIAD FINALFebruary 18, 2022, Jleeb Kuwait: With an aim to inspire school fraternity to incorporate various aspects of ‘environment and sustainable development’ within the academic realm, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), has been annually organizing ‘GREEN OLYMPIAD’ – India’s premier environment examination for school children since 1999. This year, based on the principle of ‘catching them young’, the flagship programme evaluated the environment quotient of the students on the twin issues of environment and sustainable development along with green skills.

The budding green scientists of Indian Education school, Kuwait have yet again attested that they are second to none when it comes to scientific temper by making an ostentatious display of their scientific prowess. They made a run for resounding victory and won the bag of prizes amidst a thunderstorm of applause.

Aditya Arun Kartha of grade 7C has won the Global Winner Award by competing against some of the brilliant minds near and far.  The students who have been declared country toppers from the school are: Naiga Githindas (6C) Advaith Jain Kumar (10I) Megha Vinil (11D) and Vishnu Balram (12D). The distinction awardees are Devana S Lal (4A) Jamaluddeen Azgar (4E) Kevin Jinu George(5A) Abhijith Sujith (5A) Saisha Samir V (5B) Mohit Sai (5B) Vyas Balram (5C) Dhyuti Manu (4B) Jayasree Kamalraj Radha (6B) Amanna Binu George (6B) Meera Manoj Nair(8A) and Jay Mayank Shah (11B).

Mr. N.K Ramachandran Menon, Chairman, Bhavans Middle East, and Mr. T. Premkumar, Principal, IES, eulogized the proud winners of IES for showcasing their supreme scientific temper in the prestigious Green Olympiad Examination 2021-2022. Indian Education School has once again paraded the proud young scientists in the making by winning yet another Olympiad and bringing laurels to the institution that instils knowledge through experiments and exploration by keeping rote learning at bay.
