Bhavanites Back to School with a Bouquet of Blissful Memories

Bhavanites Back to School with a Bouquet of Blissful Memories

DSC 6866 11zonThe fanciful festoons, the cheerful faces, and the bagless day set the festive mood high at Indian Education School as the young Bhavanites from grades 1-9 marched with pride to their physical classrooms on April 3, 2022, and April 4, 2022, respectively. The mushrooming laughter and chatter that resonated across the corridors of the campus on the very first day of school reminded one of a family reunion day.

The day kicked off with the principal Mr.T Premkumar, and the vice principals greeting each student with a handshake and a pleasant smile at the majestically decorated entrance. The radiant red and white balloon banners in the corridors and class bulletin boards with exhilarating quotes adorned by the student welfare teachers added charm to the affable ambience. A plethora of enriching, engaging and entertaining activities was organised to make the bagless day filled with ‘wow moments’ for the aspiring young Bhavanites who came to school swinging their hands with excitement and exhilaration which they quite did not conceal.

The highlight of the day was the exclusive ‘Talent Show’ put up by the students of all grades to showcase their unique talents. Besides this, the student welfare teacher of all grades took the students of their classes to a new level of bonding by organizing’ ‘Interactive Sessions’, ‘Musical chair’ and ‘Circle Time’ which paved the way for strengthening the student-teacher relationship. The entire atmosphere at school was overwhelming with nostalgic feelings as students lit up the otherwise gloomy school corridors with their chatter.  The dark walls built by the pandemic that stifled the freedom of children eventually collapsed allowing children to uninhibitedly mingle with their peers and teachers. The corridors of school seemed like a kaleidoscope of many a color as many newly admitted students clad in colorful outfits added hues and shades to the atmosphere of merriment.

Mr T Premkumar, principal IES and Mr. N.K. Ramachandran Menon, chairman, Bhavans Middle East urged the students to enjoy every moment of learning at IES for a rewarding future.  He promised the children that the teaching learning process under the guidance of the highly qualified teaching fraternity of Indian Education School would be interesting and enriching to the core.

Thus, the reopening day at IES ended on a high note with each Bhavanite going back home with a big smile.  The high enthusiasm of the Bhavanites’ return to school stands as a testimony to the grand success witnessed at IES on the reopening day making the day the most memorable one in the life of every Bhavanite.
